Children are hard to get off the couch these days. Yu can make it happen with a new activity for them.

That said, here are three of the most common activities for preschool. Try these. You will see the changes they bring in your child. And you will be proud when you take him to school.

Art and Craft

You saw that coming, didn’t you? So, make sure that your home sees no shortage of colored pencils, paints, craft paper, and coloring books. This is one of the best ways to keep them occupied. It will also hone some motor skills to make them ready for school.

Dance

No, girls are not the only ones who love to dance. Your son too can surprise you. All you have to do is play some music and pretend that you don’t see what they do.

The rest will flow from there.

Cook

If only you knew how much children love to join you in the kitchen. You would be surprised at the things they learn from here. True, you can’t get them to interfere on a day when you have to entertain important guests. But you sure can set a day apart for this. They can go ahead and make the kitchen a mess.

Children today are often forced to go out. So, here are some ways to get them to leave the tab and come outside with you.

Ride –

We all know how kids love ride-on, and while you can’t bring home a whole big horse, a tricycle sure would not cost much.

Swim –

If you can take them to the beach, nothing like it. But if not, thanks to indoor pools these days, you sure can get them to splash at home too.

Hit the Backyard

Ever thought of turning your backyard into a park? A swing, mini slide, and some monkey bars are all you need to keep them and the neighboring kids running around. What better way to get them to build their motor skills and with that, their social skills too.

Kids don’t need so much motivation to head outside and play. If a ball is all you can afford, there is so much they can gain from it, as they play a game. Frisbees, and hula hoops, are some of the things that don’t cost much and yet can bring out a range of motor skills in kids, making them happy too.

Just hide all the gadgets and then you won’t have any trouble getting them to head outdoors with you for the day
